These FAQs cover the features Porivo actually exposes in the app today: specialist profiles, saved chat threads, Portrait Studio, credits, and interaction controls.
1
How do I restore purchased credits in Porivo?
Open the recharge area while signed into the same App Store account used for the original purchase. If the balance still does not appear, contact support with the purchase date, product name, and a screenshot of the App Store receipt so the recharge record can be checked.
2
What happens to unused Porivo credits?
Unused credits stay tied to your Porivo account and can be used for eligible chat or portrait-generation actions until they expire under the Terms. Promotional balances may follow a shorter period if that was disclosed when the credits were granted.
3
Why does Porivo need camera access?
Camera access is only for capturing a portrait or reference image that you want to use in a specialist card or chat flow. If you do not want to capture a new image, you can skip camera access and continue with text-only setup or choose an existing photo instead.
4
Why does Porivo need access to my photos?
Photo access lets you import an existing portrait or reference image into Portrait Studio or a chat session. Porivo does not need access to your entire library for normal text-only use.
5
Why does the Portrait Studio result look different from my source photo?
Portrait Studio creates a generated draft based on your prompt, selected style, and any source image you include. Changes in wording, lighting cues, wardrobe hints, and source-image quality can all shift the output, so the result is a styled interpretation rather than a guaranteed replica.
6
How do I report inappropriate content or block someone?
Use the in-app report or block controls attached to the relevant interaction. Reports help Porivo review unsafe or abusive behavior, while blocking prevents further contact from that account on your device.
7
Why does Porivo ask for microphone access?
Microphone access is only needed if you want to use voice-based conversations. If you prefer not to grant it, you can keep using text chat, saved threads, profile setup, and other non-voice features.
