Porivo Privacy Policy
Porivo helps you build specialist profiles, continue saved chat threads, generate portrait drafts from prompts or photos, and add credits inside the app. This policy explains what data is used for those features, how long it is kept, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion.
Your Voice and Audio Data
If you choose voice-based conversations, Porivo requests microphone access so your spoken input can be processed and turned into a response inside the active session. Audio data is used only to fulfill the conversation you started and is not required to use text chat or profile features.
Legal basis: consent when you enable microphone access, and contract fulfillment when audio is needed to complete the conversation you asked for.
Retention: raw audio is kept only for the active processing session and then deleted. Derived conversation text may remain in your saved thread until you delete the session or account.
Your Account, Profile, and Session Information
Porivo stores account identifiers, specialist profile details, saved sessions, thread previews, and workspace settings so you can return to your specialists and continue work without rebuilding context. This includes names, profile fields, prompts, and session metadata.
Legal basis: contract fulfillment for account access, session continuity, and profile storage.
Retention: account and profile records are kept while the account is active and for up to 30 days after a verified deletion request so we can complete deletion workflows and resolve support issues.
Your Payments and Credits
If you purchase credits, Porivo processes purchase status, credit balances, and transaction references needed to unlock usage. Payment card data is handled by platform payment providers and is not stored directly by Porivo.
Legal basis: contract fulfillment for purchased digital services, plus legitimate interest in maintaining billing records and fraud prevention.
Retention: transaction and purchase-support records may be kept for up to 7 years where required for accounting, tax, or dispute handling.
Your Analytics and Product Signals
Porivo uses limited tracking and usage analytics to understand feature adoption, diagnose failures, and improve product quality. These signals may include device-level identifiers, coarse event data, and crash or performance information.
Legal basis: consent where tracking permission is required, and legitimate interest for service reliability and abuse prevention.
Retention: analytics and crash records are typically retained for up to 90 days unless a longer period is needed to investigate a specific service issue.
Your Camera and Photo Access
Camera access is used when you capture a portrait or reference image in Porivo. Photo library access is used when you import an existing portrait or reference image into a specialist card or chat.
Legal basis: consent when you grant camera or photo-library access for a specific action you initiate.
Retention: imported or captured images are retained in your workspace until you replace or delete them, or until account deletion is completed. Temporary processing files are removed after the relevant upload or generation task finishes.
Your Face Data and AI Photo Processing
When you attach a selected or captured photo to a chat or use a photo or reference image for a specialist portrait, the photo may contain face data such as visible facial features, face shape, skin tone, hair, and expression. Porivo sends the selected photo and the related prompt or context to Alibaba Cloud DashScope only after you agree to the in-app Face Data Consent prompt.
Porivo uses this face data only to generate the AI reply or portrait draft you request. Porivo does not use face data for face recognition or identity verification, does not build biometric templates, and does not sell face data or share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Legal basis: consent for face-photo AI processing and contract fulfillment for the AI result you request.
Storage and sharing: Porivo does not store the source face photo on its own servers for this feature. Source photos, chat attachments, and specialist portraits remain in local app storage on your device unless you delete the related conversation or specialist, replace the photo, or remove the app. Alibaba Cloud DashScope processes temporary provider task data and returned image links as our AI image-processing provider.

Your AI and Image Processing Features
When you use AI Image Studio or AI chat, Porivo may send the text prompt or message you enter, the selected style, and any image you choose to include to Alibaba Cloud DashScope so the requested AI reply or portrait draft can be generated. Outputs can vary based on source material and prompt details, and generated results are not intended for identity verification or official documents.

Retention: temporary provider task data and returned image links may remain available for up to 24 hours. Local prompts, chats, attachments, and portrait drafts remain on your device until you delete the related content or remove the app.
Your Community and Interaction Controls
Porivo includes reporting and blocking tools that let users limit unwanted interactions and flag inappropriate content. If you submit a report, we process the report reason, relevant account references, and moderation notes needed to review that submission.
Legal basis: legitimate interest in safety, misuse prevention, and service integrity.
Retention: report and moderation records are generally kept for up to 180 days, and may be kept longer if needed for legal claims or repeated abuse investigations.

Your Information Use
We use personal data to operate specialist chats, save workspace context, create portrait drafts, verify credits, respond to support requests, investigate abuse, and improve reliability. Face data from selected or captured photos is used only to generate the AI reply or portrait draft you request, not for face recognition, identity verification, biometric template creation, advertising, or data sale. We do not need every category of data for every feature; access is tied to the feature you choose to use.
Your Retention Schedule
- Raw voice input: session-only processing, then deleted.
- Saved threads, specialist profiles, and workspace settings: while active, then up to 30 days after verified deletion.
- Selected or captured face photos used for AI processing: temporary provider task data and returned image links may remain available for up to 24 hours.
- Local imported photos, chat attachments, and generated portrait drafts: until you delete the related content, replace it, remove the app, or complete an account deletion workflow.
- Purchase and billing support records: up to 7 years.
- Analytics and crash logs: about 90 days.
- Moderation or report records: about 180 days, or longer if required for a dispute or abuse review.
Your Third-Party Service Categories
Porivo may rely on these categories of service providers: hosting and cloud infrastructure, AI processing services, authentication services, in-app purchase processing, customer support tools, analytics and diagnostics providers, and security or fraud-prevention services. For AI chat, portrait drafts, and photo-based AI processing, personal data is sent to Alibaba Cloud DashScope as Porivo's AI processing provider after you grant the relevant in-app consent. We require service providers to protect personal data and process it only for the requested service.
Your Rights and Requests
You can request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data by emailing support@porivo.com with the subject line Privacy Request - Porivo. We aim to respond within 30 days after verifying the request. If the request relates to a purchase or report record, include enough detail for us to locate the relevant account or transaction safely.
Your Child Safety Boundary
Porivo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 provided information to Porivo, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
Your Notice of Policy Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. If a change materially affects how your data is used, we will post the revised policy in the app or on the support site before the updated version takes effect.
